We went to Sydney for a graduation and didn’t plan to tour the city. We found the Uber and DiDi drivers to be friendly and helpful. The public transport was good, except it was interrupted by bus replacements, which can be rather confusing for visitors who are not familiar with the system.

First time to Sydney and I loved it!
First time to Sydney and I loved it! The architecture is amazing - so nice to see old buildings not only kept but meticulously restored. The QVB is by far my favourite. Darling Harbour is amazing, as is the ease of getting around to places via ferry from Circular Quay. Taxi's are easy to obtain and pricing is not exuberant. Sad that the Sydney Harbour Bridge is not lit up at night time but a stunning icon nonetheless. The Opera House is as amazing as I envisaged it would be, although the architectural tour should run more than twice on a Saturday. Will definitely be back to see more.

Sydney was a great place to visit and hopefully will get back there one day. The comprehensive Ferry terminus down at the Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour provides a great way to explore various places around the bay such as Manly Beach (similar to Bondi beach) and Toroenga Zoo. You can also catch the Bus to Bondi Beach at the back of the Quay ( no: 333).
Sydney Harbour is a great place to be at night with the opera house lit up along with the bridge and surrounding buildings, and many people at the various restaurants dotted around Harbour area,
Darling Harbour is also a great place to visit both day and night for similar reasons.

As an ex-Sydney person and having friends from Melbourne...
As an ex-Sydney person and having friends from Melbourne with us it served the purpose on our mini 2 day holiday for going to.a symphony at the Opera House and for doing some short trips such as the ferry (take one of the slow ones preferably as that's much better then the fast ferries) to manly and back. Thi is, I consider, a must for visitors toSydney. Wonderful places to visit on a short stay eg Town Hall, St Andrews Cathedral, St James Cathedral, Opera House, Hyde park and its war memorial, Paddy's Markets, Queen Victoria Building, Art Gallery.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel YEHS (Sydney CBD), and I'd like to commend Pratim and his colleague Jandro, at the reception for exceptional service. Pratim's assistance with an early check-in made my stay seamless and enjoyable. The hotel's overall ambiance, cleanliness, and the attentive staff contributed to a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Hotel YEHS for its excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations.

Easy to get to from both the airport terminals as well as the CBD. Very convenient for short business trips, and equally great for longer stays with the in-room kitchen and laundry facilities. This is far better value than central CBD area hotels if you're willing to make a 15 minute commute. Very large and comfortable rooms. Great restaurants and large supermarket in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Location and decor of hotel were spectacular situated in the heart of Sydney CBD shops. Staff were also lovely. Bathroom was awesome. Breakfast dining area surroundings were so special being situated in a converted heritage post office building. Was very convenient to get to the theatre shows we were watching that day and night and close to public transport.
The staff were exceptional and genuinely caring. Most Sydney hotels are recovering from two years of pandemic trade restrictions. Generally Australians need to step up and become more productive I think we have been sitting at home too much and we have become lazy. Room cleanliness in all hotels I have stayed at in Australia is not was it was pre Covid.
The location of this hotel is very good to explore Sydney and also very convenient to get from and to the airport. The rooms are not big in size but super modern and very well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay there very much and was very happy with this choice.
Honestly one of the nicest Sydney hotels I’ve stayed in! The room was very spacious, and incredibly clean. It was also handy having a fully equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic - really close to the airport and there are nearby eateries and a grocery store.
Hotel is well situated, easy walking distance to office at Bangaroo and all the attractions of the harbour end of the city. Room was comfortable and well laid out, lots of space as well as wonderfully large windows with sill to sit on and take in the surrounds.
Awesome cheap accommodation just on the outskirt of Sydney CBD sitting on Wentworth avenue.
Parking was one of the best choices we seen in Sydney CBD when compared to other hotels. The discounted parking rate was a big saving for our weekend away.
Close proximity to ICC & Darling Harbour restaurants was a plus and 20 minute walk to shopping in the city precinct also a bonus. Access to the light rail made getting to & from the hotel to the airport convenient especially with tap & go.
Nice view from reception area. Nice staff! Hotel is at walking distance from domestic terminal. Good room and good bed. ⁹We were allocated room earlier by Shashank! Price for 1 night was reasonable compared to hotels in CBD. Thank you!
Good lower-priced hotel in Sydney CBD. I was given a room upgrade by Peter at check-in and had a fabulous view over the city. The staff were very nice and the range of food at breakfast was good. I appreciated happy hour too.
Hotel at attractice price incl breakfast close to airport and 15min walking distance to Mascot station which brings you to CBD in a few minutes.
Note Hotel Inn Express is not Hotel Inn Airport even closer to Mascot station.
Very convenient location in Sydney CBD, close to Barangaroo wharf, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pitt Street Mall. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Spacious apartment with ample kitchen to cook in.
Very convenient for early departures from Sydney International airport. Spacious, clean and well appointed rooms.
One of the few hotels at the airport that has a reasonable restaurant and stays open until 21:30
Great place at this price point, rooms are a little small, but that's not unusual for hotels in Sydney CBD. Clean, staff were very helpful. Great access to the center of Sydney, close to tram lines, etc.
The hotel was great and the location was perfect. Very close to the train and walking distance to CBD shopping, circular Quay and darling harbour. I felt very safe staying there with my teenage daughter.
